Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah melalui Strategi Directed Reading Thingking Activity kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SDN 4 Bulango Timur Kabupaten Bone Bolango meningkat?.Tujuan penelitian, untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman melalui Strategi Directed Reading Thingking Activity Siswa Kelas V SDN 4 Bulango Timur Kabupaten Bone Bolango.Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil capaian observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa dari 19 siswa, hanya 5 (26%) mampu membaca pemahaman.Sedangkan 14 (74%) tidak mampu dalam membaca pemahaman.Setelah diterapkan Strategi Directed Reading Thingking Activitypada siklus I sebanyak 13 (68%) mampu membaca pemahaman, 6 (32%) tidak mampu membaca pemahaman. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 17 (89%)mampu membaca pemahaman, sedangkan 2 (11%) belum mampu berdasarkan indikator membaca pemahaman yang telah ditetapkan. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan membaca pemahaman melalui Strategi Directed Reading Thingking Activity pada siswa kelas V SDN 4 Bulango Timur Kabupaten Bone Bolango meningkat.

The research problem is whether Directed Reading Thing Activity Strategy Can improve reading comprehension ability on Students Grade V of SDN 4 Bulango Timur, Bone Bolango District?. The Researchis airned to improve reading comprehension ability through directed reading thingking activity strategy on Students Grade V of SDN 4 Bulango Timur, Bone Bolango District. It applies classoomaction research (CAR), and the technique of data collection employs observation, test, and documentation.
The results of initial observation reveals that out 0f 19 students, there are only 5 students (26%) who are capable of reading comprehension, while 14 students (74%) are not capable. After the implementation of Directed Reading Thingking Activity Strategy, at cycle I there are 13 students (68%) who are capable of reading comprehension and 6 students (32%) who are not capable. At cycle II, there is an improvement as much as 17 stdents (89%) who are capable of reading comprehension, while 2 students (11%) who are not yet capable based on predetermined reading comprehension ability through Directed Reading Thingking Strategy on students Grade V Of sdn 4 Bulango Timur.
