Krismonita Diman.2020. Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Luas Persegi dan Persegi Panjang Melalui Media Petak Persegi Satuan Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN 03 Batudaa Kabupaten Gorontalo. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah melalui media petak persegi satuan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep luas persegi dan persegi panjang pada siswa kelas IV SDN 03 Batudaa, Kabupaten Gorontalo?. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep luas persegi dan persegi panjang melalui media petak persegi satuan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 03 Batudaa Kabupaten Gorontalo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).
Hasil penelitian pada pembelajaran siklus I diperoleh data, dari 21 siswa kelas IV yang paham konsep luas persegi dan persegi panjang dengan perolehan nilai 70 keatas sebanyak 12 siswa atau 57% dan masih ada 9 siswa atau 43% yang kurang paham dengan perolehan nilai dibawah 70. Hasil tersebut belum mencapai indikator yang ditentukan yakni 75%, sehingga dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Pada pembelajaran siklus II, diperoleh data dari 21 siswa kelas IV yang paham konsep luas persegi dan persegi panjang dengan perolehan nilai 70 keatas yakni ada 18 siswa atau 86% dan 3 siswa atau 14% yang kurang paham dengan perolehan nilai dibawah 70. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa melalui media petak persegi satuan pemahaman konsep luas persegi dan persegi panjang pada siswa kelas IV SDN 03 Batudaa Kabupaten Gorontalo Meningkat.

The problem in this research is whether through the media of unit square plots can improve understanding of the concept of square and rectangular areas in grade IV SDN 03 Batudaa, Gorontalo District ?. The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of the concept of square and rectangular areas through the media of unit square plots in grade IV SDN 03 Batudaa, Gorontalo District. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK).
The results of the research on learning cycle I obtained data, from 21 fourth grade students who understood the concept of square and rectangular areas with scores of 70 and above as many as 12 students or 57% and there were still 9 students or 43% who did not understand the acquisition of scores below 70. These results have not reached the specified indicator, namely 75%, so it is continued in cycle II. In the second cycle of learning, data were obtained from 21 grade IV students who understood the concept of square and rectangular areas with scores of 70 and above, namely 18 students or 86% and 3 students or 14% who did not understand the acquisition of scores below 70.Thus, It is concluded that through the media of square plots, the understanding of the concept of square and rectangular areas in grade IV SDN 03 Batudaa Gorontalo District increases.
