Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini "Apakah model pembelajaran Discovery dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA Tema 7 materi gaya di kelas IV SDN 3 Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango?" Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran Discovery pada muatan pelajaran IPA Tema 7 materi gaya di kelas IV SDN 3 Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian 22 orang siswa. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah "jika guru menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery dalam muatan pelajaran IPA Tema 7 maka hasil belajar siswa tentang materi gaya kelas IV SDN 3 Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango meningkat".
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yang telah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal pada muatan pelajaran IPA yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah yakni 75 sebanyak 12 orang siswa dengan presentase 55%, sedangkan siklus II telah mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebanyak 19 orang siswa dengan presentase 86%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas IV SDN 3 Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango.

The formulation of the problem in this study "Can student learning outcomes improve using the Discovery learning model on the subject matter of Science 7 Theme style material in class IV SDN 3 Tilongkabila Bone Bolango District?" The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes through the Discovery learning model on the subject matter of Science 7 Theme style material in class IV SDN 3 Tilongkabila Bone Bolango District. This type of research used in this research is classroom action research with 22 research subjects. The hypothesis in this study is "if the teacher uses the Discovery learning model in the contents of the Theme 7 science lesson, the student learning outcomes about the material style class IV SDN 3 Tilongkabila Bone Bolango District increases".
Based on the results of the study it was found that student learning outcomes in the first cycle that have reached the minimum completeness criteria on the content of science lessons set by the school that is 75 as many as 12 students with a percentage of 55%, while the second cycle has increased as many as 19 students with a percentage 86%. Thus it can be concluded that the Discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class IV SDN 3 Tilongkabila Bone Bolango District.
