Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA tema 6 di kelas IV SDN 47 Hulonthalangi tahun ajaran 2019/2020?. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA tema 6 di kelas IV SDN 47 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penenlitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian 18 siswa. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah ƒ..."jika dalam pembelajaran IPA guru menggunakan model Problem Based Learning maka hasil belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA tema 6 di kelas IV SDN 47 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo Tahun ajaran 2019/2020 akan meningkatƒ‚. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yang telah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal pada mata pelajaran IPA yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah yakni 75 sebanyak 10 siswa dengan presentase 56% sedangkan siklus II, telah mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebanyak 16 siswa dengan presentase 89%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas IV SDN 47 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo

The research problem is whether or not problem-based learning can improve studentsƒ¢ learning outcome on natural science subject of theme 6 at grade IV, SDN (Elementary School) 47 Hulonthalangi, academic year of 2019-2020. It aims to improve studentsƒ¢ learning outcome through problem-based learning on natural science subject of theme 6 at grade IV, SDN (Elementary School) 47 Hulonthalangi, academic year of 2019-2020. This is a classroom action research with 18 students as the subject of research. The hypothesis of the research is if the teacher applies problem-based learning on Natural Science subject, studentsƒ¢ learning outcome will improveƒ‚ Based on the findings, in cycle I, there are 10 students or 56% who have met the minimum completeness criteria set by the school, which is 75, meanwhile, in cycle II the number increases to 16 students or 89%. The conclusion is problem-based learning can improve studentsƒ¢ learning outcome on natural science subject of theme 6 at grade IV, SDN (Elementary School) 47 Hulonthalangi of Gorontalo City.
