Abstrak

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah melalui model picture and picture kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana pada siswa kelas II SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo akan meningkat? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana melalui model picture and picture. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I pertemuan I mengalami peningkatan dari observasi awal dimana siswa yang sudah mampu berjumlah 9 orang siswa atau 36% dan masih 16 orang siswa atau 76% yang tidak mampu. Pada pertemuan 2 meningkat menjadi 19 orang siswa atau 76% yang sudah mampu dan masih 6 orang siswa atau 24% yang tidak mampu. Sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 22 orang siswa atau 88% yang sudah mampu dan masih 3 orang siswa atau 12% yang tidak mampu. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui model picture and picture kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana pada siswa kelas II SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo Meningkat.

Dajani Suleman, M.Hum. The problem statement of this research is whether or not the application of picture and picture model improves the studentsĢ ability to write simple sentence at class of II, SDN 4 Telaga, Gorontalo District. It aims improving the studentsĢ ability to write simple sentence at class of II, SDN 4 Telaga, Gorontalo District through the application of picture and picture model. Findings reveal that the result of meeting I of cycle I improves from the initial observation in which 9 students or 36% are able to write the simple sentence although there are still 16 students or 64% who are not able to write simple sentence. In meeting 2 of cycle I, 19 students or 76% are able to write the simple sentence, and 6 students or 24% are not able to write the simple sentence. Meanwhile, in meeting I of cycle 2, the result improves to be 22 students or 88% who are able to write simple sentence although 3 students or 12% remain not yet able to write the simple sentence. Hence, it can be concluded that the studentsĢ ability to write simple sentence at class of II, SDN 4 Telaga, Gorontalo District can be improved through the application of picture and picture model.
