Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah "Apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada muatan pelajaran IPA tema 5 di kelas IV SDN 2 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo?". Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada muatan mata pelajaran IPA tema 5 di kelas IV SDN 2 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental designs dengan rancangan One-Group pretest-posttes design. Variabel bebas yaitu model pembelajaran Probing Prompting dan variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik SDN 2 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo, sampel yaitu 25 siswa kelas IV (kelas eksperimen). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 64.53 sedangkan posttest sebesar 73.06 yang sama-sama menggunakan model pembelajaran probing prompting. Jika dibandingkan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest maka nilai rata-rata posttest lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata pretest. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 2.850 > ttabel = 1.711. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran probing prompting terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada muatan pelajaran IPA tema 5 kelas IV SDN 2 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo.

The formulation of the problem in this study is "Is there an effect of using the Probing Prompting learning model on student learning outcomes in science subject content theme 5 in grade IV SDN 2 Limboto, Gorontalo District?" This study aims to determine the effect of using the Probing Prompting learning model on student learning outcomes in science subject content theme 5 in class IV SDN 2 Limboto, Gorontalo District. The type of this research is Pre-Experimental designs with One-Group pretest-posttest design. The independent variable is the Probing Prompting learning model and the dependent variable is the learning outcome. The population in the study were all students of SDN 2 Limboto Gorontalo Regency, the sample was 25 class IV students (experimental class). The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The results of the research and discussion of the experimental class obtained an average pretest value of 64.53 while the posttest was 73.06, both of which used the probing prompting learning model. When compared to the pretest and posttest mean scores, the posttest mean scores were higher than the pretest mean scores. The results of hypothesis testing obtained tcount> ttable, namely 2.850> ttable = 1.711. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of the probing prompting learning model on student learning outcomes in science subject content theme 5 class IV SDN 2 Limboto Gorontalo District.
