Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini Apakah terdapat pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap minat belajar siswa pada muatan IPS di kelas IV SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap minat belajar siswa pada muatan IPS di kelas IV SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dengan cara melakukan penyebaran angket kepada siswa, sehingga data dalam penelitian ini yakni data primer. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data regresi linear sederhana.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa pada Muatan IPS di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Koefisien positif memiliki makna bahwa semakin kondusif lingkungan sekolah maka akan semakin tinggi pula minat belajar siswa. Besarnya koefisien determinasi atau angka R Square adalah sebesar 0,543. Nilai ini menunjukan bahwa sebesar 54,30% variabilitas minat belajar siswa pada Muatan IPS di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo dapat dijelaskan oleh Lingkungan sekolah, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 45,70% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

The problem statement of this research was whether or not there is influence of school environment on students interest to learn at social science subject at grade IV of SDN 4 Telaga of Gorontalo District.
The research objective was to find out the influence of school environment on students interest to learn at social science subject at grade IV of SDN 4 telaga of Gorontalo District. Data in this research were obtained by distributing questionnaires to students so that they were primary data. The method used in this research was quantitative, in which the technique of analysis applied simple linear regression.
The finding of research showed that the school environment had a positive and significant influence on the students interest to learn at social science subject at grade IV of SDN 4 Telaga of Gorontalo district. In addition, the Positive coefficient means that the more conducive the school environment, the higher the student's interest in learn. The amout of coefficient of determination or value R Square was 0.543. The value indicated that 54.30% of the variability of students' interest to learn at social science subject at grade IV of SDN 4 Telaga of Gorontalo Disctrict could be explained by the school environment, whereas the 45.70% is influenced by other variables which were not studied in this research.
