Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah "Apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA materi organ peredaran darah di kelas V SDN 17 Limboto, Kecamatan Limboto? Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran SFAE terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA materi organ peredaran darah di kelas V SDN 17 Limboto, Kecamatan Limboto. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode true eksperimen, menggunakan desain Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V, sampel yaitu 25 siswa kelas VA (kelas kontrol) dan 25 siswa kelas VB (kelas eksperimen). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa dan tes sebagai data pendukung. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t independen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa kelas eksperimen (72,1) aktif dibandingkan siswa kelas kontrol (59,4). Pada uji hipotesis penelitian menunjukan nilai thitung = 3,655 > ttabel = 1,677 atau dapat juga dilihat pada nilai sig = 0,001 < taraf signifikan =0,05. Maka berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, hipotesis H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran SFAE terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA materi organ peredaran darah di kelas V SDN 17 Limboto, Kecamatan Limboto.

The formulation of the problem in this study is "Is there an effect of the use of the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model on student learning activities in science lesson content on circulatory organs in class V SDN 17 Limboto, Limboto District?" The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the SFAE learning model on student learning activities on science subject content of circulatory organs in class V SDN 17 Limboto, Limboto District. This research is a quantitative research with true experimental method, using Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students in class V, the sample was 25 students in class VA (control class) and 25 students in class VB (class experiment). The data collection technique uses the student learning activity observation sheet and tests as supporting data. Hypothesis testing is done using an independent t test. Based on the results of the study, the average student learning activity in the experimental class (72.1) was active compared to the control class students (59.4). In the research hypothesis test, it shows the value of t = 3.655> t table = 1.677 or it can also be seen at the sig = 0.001
