Abstrak
Novita Putri Mahajani 2020. Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Kata Dengan Menggunakan Media Kotak Elkonin Di Kelas II SDN 1 Tilango Kabupaten Gorontalo, Skripsi. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah melalui media kotak elkonin dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kata pada siswa kelas II SDN 1 Tilango Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kata dengan menggunakan media kotak elkonin di kelas II SDN 1 Tilango Kabupaten Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas.
Hasil observasi awal menunjukan bahwa dari 22 siswa terdapat 4 orang siswa (18%) yang mampu menulis kata. Sedangkan yang belum mampu menulis kata masih 18 orang siswa (82%). Setelah dilakukan siklus I pertemuan pertama meningkat menjadi 5 orang siswa (23%) yang mampu menulis kata. Siklus I pertemuan dua meningkat menjadi 10 orang siswa (45%) yang mampu menulis kata. Dan pada siklus II pertemuan pertama kembali meningkat menjadi 18 orang siswa (82%) yang mampu menulis kata. Kemudian pada siklus II pertemuan dua meningkat menjadi 20 orang siswa (91%) yang mampu menulis kata sedangkan sisanya 2 orang siswa (9%) yang belum mampu menulis kata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui media kotak elkonin kemampuan menulis kata pada siswa kelas II SDN 1 Tilango Kabupaten Gorontalo meningkat.

The problem in this research is whether through the media box elkonin can improve the ability to write words in class II SDN 1 Tilango Gorontalo District. This study aims to improve the ability to write words using elkonin box media in class II SDN 1 Tilango Gorontalo District. This type of research is classroom action research.
The results of preliminary observations showed that out of 22 students there were 4 students (18%) who were able to write words. Meanwhile, 18 students were still unable to write words (82%). After the first cycle, the first meeting increased to 5 students (23%) who were able to write words. The first cycle of meeting two increased to 10 students (45%) who were able to write words. And in the second cycle the first meeting again increased to 18 students (82%) who were able to write words. Then in the second cycle the second meeting increased to 20 students (91%) who were able to write words while the remaining 2 students (9%) were unable to write words. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that through the elkonin box media the ability to write words in the second grade students of SDN 1 Tilango Gorontalo district has increased.
