Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah "apakah melalui media Audio visual kemampuan menulis paragraf pada siswa kelas V SDN 94 Sipatana meningkat ?. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa melalui media Audio Visual pada siswa kelas V SDN 94 Sipatana Kota Gorontalo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari I siklus III kali pertemuan dengan tehnik pengumpulan data, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi.
Hasil observasi awal menunjukan bahwa hanya 8 siswa (36,3%) yang memiliki kemampuan dalam menulis paragraf. Sedangkan 14 siswa (63.6%) belum memiliki kemampuan yang optimal menulis paragraf. Pada pelaksanaan pertemuan I terlihat bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswa menulis paragraf masih rendah dan belum mencapai indikator capaian, dimana nilai rata-rata siswa masih 45%. Selanjutnya pada pertemuan II terlihat bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswa menulis paragraf sudah mulai meningkat tetapi belum mencapai indikator capaian, dimana nilai rata-rata siswa masih 63%. Kemudian pada pertemuan III terjadi peningkatan yang sangat signifikan yaitu nilai rata-rata siswa 83% dan sudah mencapai indikator capaian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan siswa menulis paragraf dapat ditingkatkan dengan media Audio Visual.

The formulation of the research problem was "whether through audio visual media the ability to write paragraphs in grade V SDN 94 did the increase? The research objective was to improve students' writing skills through audio visual media in grade V SDN 94 Sipatana Gorontalo City. The research method used is a classroom action research consisting of I cycle III meetings with data collection techniques, observation, tests and documentation.
The results of preliminary observations showed that only 8 students (36.3%) had the ability to write paragraphs. Meanwhile, 14 students (63.6%) did not yet have optimal ability to write paragraphs. In the implementation of the first meeting, it was seen that the average score of the students 'ability to write paragraphs was still low and had not yet reached the achievement indicator, where the students' average score was still 45%. Furthermore, at the second meeting it was seen that the average score of the students 'ability to write paragraphs had begun to increase but had not yet reached the achievement indicators, where the students' average score was still 63%. Then at the third meeting there was a very significant increase, namely the student's average score was 83% and had reached the achievement indicator. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the students' ability to write paragraphs can be improved by using Audio Visual media.
