This study aimed to: 1) get an overview of the role of family building in the development of children under five in early childhood seed Gorontalo Regency, 2) know the facts which affect the increased role of the family cultivated a toddler in child development in early childhood seed Gorontalo regency. Techniques of data collection was done by using interview, observation and documentation. While the techniques of data analysis conducted by the qualitative analysis.
The results showed that: 1) the role of family building in the development of children under five in early childhood seed Gorontalo regency implemented in three roles: the role of facilitator, motivator and role as a catalytic role, 2) of the three factors that were analyzed showed that the education factor, factor socioeconomic, and environmental factors provide a positive influence on community development efforts to enhance the role of family in child development toddlers in early childhood Leading Gorontalo Regency
Related research findings it is suggested some of the following: 1) to increase the role of family building in the actualization of the role of children as a catalyst to further optimize the implementation of community development activities in carrying out its activities under five families for early child development, 2) need more attention from different optimal parties to support the implementation of family building activities related to children with early childhood growth and development can be run well and achieve their intended target, and 3) early childhood education as one of the institutions need to familiarize children with the lifestyle of a clean and healthy to follow up the development program family of a toddler in the optimization of growth and development of early childhood
