Irawati Abdul, SE, M.Si The purpose of this research is to know and describe kinds of employees’ work motivation in Gorontalo city Secretariat Office, especially in Public Safety Department. The method of this research is descriptive method with qualitative research design. The sample of this research is 12 students of Public Safety Department employees. Observation and interview techniques were used to collect the data. Based on the result, the employees’ motivation is good enough. It can be seen from the research indicators and also supported by the leader who upholds the disciplines in this department. Key words: work motivation
