Nur’ain Usman, 2012. “Komparasi Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dengan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Talking Stick Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi”, (Suatu Penelitian di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Model Kota Gorontalo). Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo di bawah bimbingan Dra. Hj. Salma Bowtha, M.Pd dan Drs. Rusli Isa, M.Si.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di Kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Model Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik tes sebagai alat untuk mengukur perbandingan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menetapkan yang menjadi populasi adalah seluruh kelas X yang ada di MAN Model Gorontalo sejumlah 10 kelas. Dalam hal ini yang ditetapkan menjadi sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu X2 dan X3 dimana kedua kelas ini dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen.
Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat bantu statistik yaitu melalui uji kesamaan berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh t_hitung sebesar 5.85 sedangkan untuk taraf nyata 0,05 dan dk = 38 diperoleh nilai t_daftar 2,04 sehingga hipotesis penelitian berbunyi “Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Model Kota Gorontalo” dapat diterima dan teruji kebenarannya. Dengan demikian dapat dipastikan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) mendapatkan hasil belajar lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick.

The study aims to determine the ratio of students’ learning outcomes through Cooperative Learning Model of Talking Stick Type and Study Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the Economics subject in the first year class of Model Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) of Gorontalo.
The study is a research experiment using a test technique as a tool to measure students' learning outcomes comparison experiments. In this study the authors determined that a population is a whole class of first year that is in MAN Model of Gorontalo as many as 10 classes. In this case a sample set consists of two classes, which are X2 and X3 in which two classes were used as experimental class.
Data analysis methods used in this study using quantitative methods by using statistical test of similarity is through hypothesis testing based on the obtained t_count of 5, 85 while for the real level of 0.05 and dk = 38 obtained t_list = 2,04. Research hypothesis states that “There is a differences in students’ learning outcomes through cooperative learning model of talking stick and Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) types on economic subjects at MAN Model of Gorontalo City” proven and acceptable. Thus it is certain that the use of cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type have better outcomes than Talking Stick type.
