Masalah pokok dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini yakni rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi. Dengan tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi pada siswa kelas X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Gorontalo dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT).
Berdasarkan penelitian hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dari 35 orang siswa hanya 16 orang siswa atau 45,71% yang memperoleh nilai di atas 75, dan sisanya 19 orang siswa atau 54,28% mempeoleh nilai di bawah 75 dengan daya serap siswa 74,45%. Dengan demikian perlu dilanjutkan ke siklus berikutnya karena belum mencapai indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan. Sedangkan pada siklus II Hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dimana dari 35 orang siswa 29 orang siswa atau 82,86% yang mendapatkan nilai 75 ke atas atau mencapai ketuntasan yang telah ditentukan, dan sisanya 6 orang siswa atau 17,14% yang mendapatkan nilai 75 ke bawah atau tidak mencapai ketuntasan dengan daya serap kurikulum sebesar 81,25% .
Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X Ak1 SMK Negeri 1 Gorontalo pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi. Melihat keberhasilan tersebut maka hipotesis yang menyatakan “jika diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dalam proses belajar mengajar pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi dengan baik, maka hasil belajar siswa akan meningkat” dapat diterima.

The main problem in this action research is the poor quality of students’ learning achievement on accounting subject. This study aims to improve the students’ learning achievement on accounting subject in grade X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Gorontalo by applying cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Together (NHT) Type.
Based on the students’ learning achievement in the first cycle which consist of 35 students, there were only 16 students or 45,71% who achieved score above 75, and the rest 19 students or 54,28% achieved score below 75 with the learning absorption level is 74, 45%. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct the second cycle due to insufficiency in achieving the defined work indicators. Furthermore, there was a significant improvement in the second cycle where 29 out of 35 students or 82,86% achieved score above 75 which means achieving the learning achievement targeted, and the rest 6 students or 17,14% gained score below 75 or did not achieve the learning target with the absorption level of 81,25%.
Thus, it is concluded that the application of cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Togther (NHT) type can improve the students learning achievement of grade X AK 1 SMK Negeri 1 Gorontalo on accounting subject. Based on the research result, the hypothesis stating “the cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Together (NHT) Type can improve the students’ learning achievement if it is applied in accounting subject’s learning process” is acceptable.
