SUPARTOMO, NIM. 211 408 294. “Pengaruh Penerapan Pendekatan Kontekstual (Contextual Teaching And Learning) terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Di SMA Tridharma Gorontalo”. Dibimbing oleh Ibu Dra. Irina Popoi S.Pd, M.Pd, dan Ibu Hj. Irawati Abdul, S.E, M.Si Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Gorontalo 2012. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan rumusan masalah “Apakah terdapat pengaruh yang ditimbulkan oleh penerapan pendekatan kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di kelas X SMA Tridharma Gorontalo? Sedangkan tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pendekatan kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dengan motivasi belajar siswa Kelas X SMA Tridharma Gorontalo. . Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi dan angket. Analisis data yaitu analisis regresi dan korelasi. Sebagai kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Hasil pengujian persamaan regresi memperlihatkan hasil bahwa setiap terjadi perubahan sebesar satu unit variabel X (Pendekatan kontekstual), maka akan diikuti oleh perubahan rata-rata variabel Y ( Motivasi Belajar Siswa). (2) dari hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasi, terlihatbahwa 17.64% motivasi belajar siswa ditentukan oleh pendekatan kontekstual dan sisanya sebesar 82.36% ditentukan oleh faktor lain yang tidak didesain dengan penelitian ini. (3) Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian “Terdapat pengaruh positif yang ditimbulkan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap motivasi belajar siswa” dapat diterima pada taraf signifikan. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Kontekstual, Motivasi Belajar Siswa.

The study was based on the problem formulation, “are there any effect of application on contextual teaching and learning toward students’ learning motivation in X class of SMA Tridharma of Gorontalo? The study aims to determine the effect of application on contextual teaching and learning toward students’ learning motivation in X class of SMA Tridharma of Gorontalo. The study was conducted using quantitative methods. Techniques of data collection consisted of observation and questionnaires, the data analysis techniques using regression and correlation. The conclusion of this study were: (1) The test results show of the regression equation that any change of a unit of X variables (contextual teaching and learning), it will be followed by a change in the average Y variable (students’ learning motivation), (2) the calculation of the correlation coefficient and the determination coefficient, shows that 17.64% from students’ learning motivation is determined by the contextual approach and the balance of 82.36% determined by other factors that are not designed with this research, (3) Based on the results of hypothesis testing in this study, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis states, “there are positive effects brought about by a contextual approach to students’ learning motivation”, proven and acceptable to the significant level.
