Abstrak
ABSTRACT
Jun Muhamad, 2016. "The Effectevely of Interpersonal Communication of Nurses and Patients in Islamic Hospital of Gorontalo". The aim of this research is to recognize the level of effectevely of interpersonal communication those applied by the nurses with patients in The Islamic hospital of Gorontalo.
This research took three months and located in The Islamic Hospital of Gorontalo, Jl. Agus Salim, Gorontalo city. the method that the researcher used in this research is descriptive analysis method with qualitative approach through the observations, interviews, and documentations in order to know the effectively of comunication among nurses and patients in Islamic Hospital of Gorontalo. The entire datas are produced and analized by qualitative descriptive method.
The result showed us that the comunication built among the nurses and the patients in Islamic Hospital of Gorontalo are running quite well although there are several obstacles that the researcher faced in the location. This is supported by the expert theory of Joseph A Devito that the researcher used in this research which stated that there are five general qualified interpersonal communications: 1) The opennes; 2) empathy; 3) supportivness; 4) positiveness; and 5) equality.
