Abstrak
ABSTRACT Nurlela Yasin antu 2013. ''Enhancing Students' writing Ability in Recount Text by Using Mind Mapping Technique'' conducted at 2th grade SLTP 1 pulubala .Kab.Gorontalo. The aim of this research is to know whether the mind mapping can enhance the students' writing in recount text or not. I used quasi experimental method, There pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The sample in this research is the students' in grade two of SLTP 1 Pulubala Kab.Gorontalo that consist of 24 students. Where in the pre-test which found are described such as highest score is 10 and low score is 4 and than in the post-test which found are described such as highest score is 16 and low score is 12, From the hypothesis verification, tcount > ttable or tcount = 5,31 > ttable = 2,07. It means that mind mapping technique can enhancing the students' writing in recount text at 2th grade SLTP 1 pulubala Kab.Gorontalo.in the process of learning needed one technique to easy helped explore experience of students', mind mapping is one way to enhance. I hope my research could be one treatment to enhance writing recount text in the process learning. Key word: writing, recount text ,mind mapping
