Ahlan. 2013. Nim : 321407005. Skripsi: “A Descriptive Study of Written Feedback in Students’ Writing Skill”.
The main problems of this study were “How is the teacher’s written feedback toward students’ writing and students’ perspectives toward the giving of written feedback from teacher”. The objective of this study was aimed to describe the giving of written feedback by the teacher in students’ writing. The source of the research is the worksheets of students’ writing toward giving of written feedback from teacher and students of MTs Hidayatullah in academic year 2012/2013 as informants. They consist of 26 students. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The instrument used in collecting the data was documentation and interview. The researcher analyzed the data that had been collected by interpreting the findings in documentation and interview qualitatively in order to get the description giving of written feedback of this study. This study described that the students have several errors in writing in learning English after the teacher provided written feedback to them. It could be described from the task sheets which the students did error in completing a task that teacher asked to them. The most used by the teacher in providing of written feedback to students’ worksheets are error correction, comment and marking/underlining. Based on interview list distributed to students, most of them are interested in learning english after the teacher provided written feedback in their worksheets.
