Abstrak

Zumiati Hulinggi. “Multiple Personality Disorder Character in Tell me Your Dreams of Sidney Sheldon This research is aimed Multiple Personality Disorder Character in Tell me Your Dreams of Sidney Sheldon novel. The problem of this research is from formulated as “how is multiple personality disorder in the main character of “Tell me Your Dreams” a novel by Sidney Sheldon?” The method of research that used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This research also uses psychological approach. The technique of collecting the data is read the novel and identifying the data by underlying each sentence that related with the character. The technique analysis the data used qualitative research. Finally, the result of this research finds Multiple personality Disorder this researcher also describe the main character of Ashley Patterson, in which it starts building personality through three components included Id,Ego and Superego and they are inside each individual.
