Abstrak

ABSTRACT Rahma Ma’ruf Pakaja. (2013): “An Analysis of the main character in Abduction movie by John Singleton”. This study aims to describe main character in the movie by John Singleton, titled Abduction. It focuses on analysis of the main character. The research employs descriptive method that uses primary and secondary data sources. The primary data source is taken as a subject of research is the Abduction movie and the secondary data is supporting the literature that is still associated with the research. This study uses structural approaches. To analysis the data, this research uses analysis by corpus for classification the data and analysis for the data. The result of research shows that the main character in Abduction movie is Nathan. Nathan has a wide range of character that is cowardly, humorous, bored, responsibility, fragile yet strong, courageous, have a strong feeling, able to withstand the emotional, indecisive, suspicious, curious, caring, and has a strong imagination.
