The Application of Interactive Instructional Model on Students’ Reading ComprehensionThe objective of this study is to find out the application of interactive instructional model on students’ reading comprehension. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The use qualitative method in order to describe the students’ reading comprehension by using interactive instructional model. As the participant in this research is the teacher of SMP 3 Limboto that consist of two teachers, and the students that consist of 20 students. In collecting the data of this research I used questioner, interview, observation. Furthermore, the data of this research analyzed qualitatively.Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that the application of interactive instructional model can be apply in reading comprehension. The applying of interactive instructional done by giving instruction to the students to make the brainstorming of the text given, the brainstorming aimed to check the student pre understanding of the topic given. The next activity is the teacher asking the student making the clues of text given, the clues aimed to find out the main words, main idea, main topic of the text. Then the students asked to make the relation ship map, the map is aimed to make the relation main idea of the text that can be used as the key or learning the text.
