Sinta Mointi.2015. American Value In "The Illusionist" Film Directed By Neil Berger.
This skripsi conducting based on the problem statement , What are American Value reflected in "The Illusionist" film directed by Neil Berger?, What are the life values that contained in the film?. The objective ofthis research are as follows : To describe American value reflected in "The illusionist" film directed by Neil Berger, To find out some life values which are contained in the film.
This research use descriptive qualitative analysis method. The method chosen because suitable with the topic. The method use to describe Americanvalue and the life values that contained in the film of"The Illusionist" directed by Neil Berger. The data collected by using observation,taking note and classifying. In analyzing the film, I also consider about the social facts especially American value that contain in the story and dialogues of the film,then I conclude my research.
The Illusionist is a film directed by Neil Berger presented a man who has illusionist trick that fall in love to princess Sofia , but is not like by the prince Leopold. This film contained some American value. This film show that the main character Eisenheimis a hard work man, he never give up in a bad situation. Also,as an illusionist he has privation, he never talk to other about the secret of his illusion. Eisenheim also always use him time to work because he realize that as a worker he have to use time as better as he can,he has a vision about the future of his life and he have do to prove it.
