Wirna Wahab. 2013. Skripsi “A Descriptive Study on Students’ Difficulties in Using Word Order of Adjective” (A Research Conducted at the Eleventh Grade Students of SMK Negeri 2 Gorontalo)
The aim of this research is to find out the students’ difficulties in using word order of adjective and some causes that make students difficult to use word order of adjective. The subject of this research is the students at the eleventh grade of SMK Negeri 2 Gorontalo in 2012-2013 academic years which consist of 24 students. The method is descriptive qualitative method. The data are collected by giving the test to the students. The form of the test is filling in the blank; the students are asked to put the adjective in the correct order. The questions consist of 30 items. The result of the research shows that the students’ difficult is 44.44% and it is categorized into medium level. The categorization shown that are 8 students could be classified into low level, 11 students could be classified into medium level, and 5 students could be classified into high level. Another finding shows that it is difficult for students in using word order of adjective because they did not know the correct order of adjectives and the meaning of the words, and they seldom did exercise to use the words.
