Abstract

This Research aims to get the description about moral values in oliver twist movie directed by roman polanski based on novel writen by charles dickens. this research applies the library research to analyze the data, technique of the data is to look for important data, watch the movie and then read the script and take a note. this research described descriptivelly the data by using theory of moral values by nicolai Hartmann. it is found two kinds of moral values they are positive and negative moral values. the positive moral valus found in Oliver twist movie are self-control, courage, fidelity, radiant virtue and wisdom. meanwhile, the negative moral values are found abhorrence, disdain and fault
