First advisor Nurlaila Husain, S.S.,M.Pd and second advisor Sri Widyarti Ali, S.Pd.,M.Hum The objective of this research is to find out types of code-mixing of teacher during teaching in the classroom and also to find out the reasons of teachers mix the code in their explanation. The sample of this research is second grade of SMA Muhammadiyah Tolangohula which consist of 2 teachers. The method used in this research was qualitative method by using observation and interview.. The result of this research shows the types and reason of code-mixing in English teaching learning process. Key words: Code-Mixing, English Teaching Learning Process.
