Abstrak

ABSTRACT Panigoro, Rita. (2015). NIM: 321 409 141. Skripsi: Improving Students' Speaking Ability by using Cooperative Script" (a research conducted in SMK N 1 Batudaa at the Students of class X1 Accounting 2013/2014 academic years). My first advisor was Titien F. Mohammad, S.Pd, M.App. Ling, and my second advisor was Sri Rumiyatiningsih Luwiti, M.Pd. The objective of this research is to find out whether or not cooperative script can improve students' speaking ability. The subject of this research were the first grade at SMK N 1 Batudaa in 2013/2014 academic years, they consists of 28 students in one class. The method in this research was quantitative method and the design of this research is experimental research design by applying pre test and post test design. The data are collected by using rubric of speaking and they are analyzed by using t-test. The result of t-test at = 0.05 shows that tcount higher than tlist with the calculation 15.52647 â 2.05.. It means that, the hypothesis is acceptable where cooperative script can improve students' speaking ability. Keywords: students' ability, cooperative script.
