Abstrak

the research objectives are: providing a source of information for the new linguist to study about semantic role or semantic deep and passive construction. it is very useful for the new linguist that linguistic field of study is dynamic and undergoes changes because one language to another language is different and that is why the common pattern of constructing passive cannot be used. besides,this way of analyzing sentences maybe applied by the students when they are analyzing constituents' roles, the next is to find out what roles mostly occurred in data. also to find out what kind of passive sentences found in two different sources. Key words: semantic role (agent,patient,goal,benefactive,experiencer,time,location,patient)
