Skripsi: "A Descriptive Study of Students' Internal Problem in Reading Comprehension" ( a study conducted at SMP Negeri 2SatapBonepantai class VIIIB 2014/2015 academic years). This research was done at class VIIIB in SMPN2SatapBonepantaiwhich consists of 22 students. The objective of this researchto explore and describe the students' interest and motivation in Reading Comprehension and the causes of students' interest and motivationin reading comprehension.Technique of collecting the data were questioners and observation.The data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of this research shows that the students' motivation and interest in comprehending English textwere categorized into high category. It is proved by the result of analysis that the students' motivation is 65% and the students' interest is 73% , it can be categorized into high category .After I did this research, the suggestion could be references to the students and for the lecturer, such as to built the students' habitually in reading English text and grown their interest, and to provide medium to built students' interest and motivation in reading English text.
