This study aims to find out the impact of English lesson allotment reduction towards the English teachers and students. According to Farbman (2005), the limit of time for class instruction is not enough because one of the disadvantages is teacher cannot cover all learning materials in one meeting. This study is designed by using qualitative method. The participants were the English teachers and students at the tenth and eleventh grade chosen because in this grade Curriculum 2013 is applied. Interview and observation were used for collecting the data. Observation was conducted in three meetings in one class. Three English teachers and twenty five students were interviewed in order to find out the information about the impact of English lesson allotment reduction. Analyzing the data was started from identifying the data, classifying the data and interpreting the data. The findings of this study show that the allotment reduction in English lesson gives positive and negative impacts towards the teacher in the management of learning variables and towards the students in the variable of school achievement. This study also finds the other impact outside the indicator of research. Key words: English Lesson, Allotment Reduction, English Teachers and Students.
