Abstrak
abstractFajar Agus Saputra Habibie:“Students’ Perception on Australian and Indonesian Graduates Teaching Performance”(A Research Conducted at the English Department Students in 2011-2012 Academic Years)This study is aimed to find out students’ perception on Australian and Indonesian graduates teaching performance. This study was conducted at English department students in 2011-2012 academic years. The samples have been chosen in total sample that include 140 students. The data of this research were collected from questioner. The statements consist of 40 statements. Likert Scale was used of those statements to score students answer. The data have been analyzed by using descriptive quantitative. The questioner was actually divided into four indicators; they are Learning Plan, Active and Effective Learning, Teaching Quality and Learning Assessment. In the learning plan indicator, Indonesian graduate obtained 72.13 % of total respondent. In the active and effective learning, Indonesian graduate obtained 79 % of total respondent. In the teaching quality, Australian graduate gained 67.38 % of total respondent. Then, the last indicator, learning assessment, Australian graduate gained 68.64 % of total respondent.Key Words: Students’ perception, Australian graduate teaching performance, Indonesian graduate teaching performance, learning plan, active and effective learning, teaching quality, learning assessment.
