Charles Perrault's The little glass slipper is a children literature which was published in 1697. It included in one kind of folklore tale and became popular when adapted by animated film from Walt Disney Production with the famous title "Cinderella". Cinderella is the main character of the story is a young girl life who unparalleled goodness and sweetness of temper, she lived with her father second wife and since that she under go bad treatment from her step mother and step sister. This research aims to reveal the moral values based on three principles of Suseno that is the principle of good-attitude, justice, and self-respect contained in the short story.
The approach used in this research is structural approach. This research was conducted in a series of method. First, categorizing the data in discourse form related to the three principles, then, interpreting the data. The last is making conclusion.
In "The little glass slipper" good-attitude they are unparalleled goodness, sweetness of temper, patience, courtesy, helpful, kind thought, and positive thinking. Justice they are respect to human right, and give the same change to other. Self-respect they are to be perfect to others, having strong belief to ourselves, and do not to be neglected. Those values are good way and will guide us to be better to ourselves, other people, and to the society and we have to follow it. From analyzing moral values hopefully in this short story, it can build the good character for us as a human to solve the problem wisely and with right way.
