Abstract
Poetry in literature is viewed as something that is very complicated to explain, because has meanings that relate directly to the feelings of the poet. Here is a point will take into account signs and symbols as a communication to get the meaning of which cannot be interpreted directly in poems. This study will focus on analysis in the poems using the sign as a bridge that connects to the concealed meaning in every poem. The goal is to identify the signs and symbols that finds in each poem. Charles S. Pierce argues that "sign is something which is categorized as physic form that can be catches up by the human senses and something that refers other things outside that sign itself".Qualitative Data is able to describe correctly the data has contained in the poem as the most powerful object. This study will strengthen the position of theory in semiotic analysis and contributes to the literature courses in a given semiotic poems included in the environmental of literature. The primary is how a word in poem that cannot be understood directly can be explained by reading symbols in semiotic concept of Pierce.
