The objective of this research are to describe the loanwords that are used in the Jakarta Post online and to describe the types of English loanwords in the Jakarta Post online. This research is conducted by using qualitative method. The subject of this research is The Jakarta Post online. The result refers that there are 53 loanwords that English Borrow from Latin and French, and then 45 loanwords from Latin and 5 words from French and there are 3 words from 2 source language, it was From French and Latin. Afterward, there are three types of loanwords. those were types of loanwords Without Phonetic Subtitution (WPS), Partial Phonetic Subtituttion (PPS), and Complete Phonetic Substituttion (CPS). In WPS be found 16 loanwords that English borrow from Latin, and PPS be found 32 loanwords from Latin and French, afterward there are 6 loanwords from Latin that contain of CPS.
