The aim of this research is to analyze the hero characterization of Harry Potter character in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows novel. The analysis is done by applying structuralism approach and using the theory of Joseph Campbell trace the hero characterization, based on the seventeen stages of hero's adventure. From the analysis, it is found that in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows novel, Harry Potter characterization has fulfilled most of the hero's adventure stages of Campbell except one, that is the stage of Refusal of The Return. However, according to the analysis, the uncompleteness of that stage described the braveness of Harry as a hero character. At some stages where a hero could reject to do dangerous acts, due to fear of being unable to do so, Harry Potter character never rejected to do his duty as a hero.
