Saus, Kartika. 2016. NIM: 321 411 116. The Influence of Animation Movie Towards Students Speaking Ability ( A research conducted at the second grade students of SMA Negeri I Suwawa in the 2015 /2016 academic years)
The purpose of this study is to find out whether or not animation movie influence the students' speaking ability. Source of the data in this research was class XI IPS 2 consists of 20 students. This study used quantitative method by using pre-test, treatment and post-test. Data for this study were collected through the students' result in retelling narrative text. The findings of this study indicates' achievement in speaking narrative text. The hypothesis was tested by using t-test formula. In this case the researcher found than tcount is bigger than ttable (4.3 > 2.09) with the level significance = 0.05 and df = (n-1) = 19. This result shows that the hypothesis of this study is received. It can be seen that the percentage of pre-test is 40.2 and post-test is 70.6. It can be concluded that by using animation movie through retelling story can improve the students' skill in speaking narrative text.
