This study investigates the terminologies of aviation as an evidence that aviation has their own technical terminologies or Jargon. The terminologies are created by aviation and useful to be known by the general people, therefore the problem of this research is "what are the technical jargons used by flight attendants of Lion Air?". Based on the problem, the aim of this research is to find out the jargons of Lion Air flight attendants. The method of this research is qualitative research, where the data are obtained from direct and indirect interviews and observations. The data were conducted from five flight attendants of Lion Air and analyzed based on the use and forms of jargon in aviation. The use of jargon based on each situations or place and the forms of aviation jargons are divided into word, phrase, abbreviation and acronym. The result of the data analysis reveals that there are 41 jargons in aviation which most exist. The jargons present in four forms, those are 17 words, 11 phrases, 11 abbreviations and 2 acronyms. The result also explains that there are several jargons in the airplane, at the airport, and in emergency situations that will be found in the announcements and conversations by flight attendants.
