This present study aims to investigate the impact of using media technology in English language teaching in senior high school. The issue of technology is really essential in English learning process. As the tool of learning, media technology has important role to develope studentsâ knowledge and skills extensively for learning purposes. In essence, it supports by the teachers to use appropriate media in teaching English in class room. Therefore, the use of media technology is considered as the best way to make students understand the material. This study uses qualitative method, where the subject of research are thirteen students at MAN Batudaa. Moreover, the data are obtanied from interview and analysis of data is concerned to the instruments that is used in this research. The result of this study shows that, media has positve impact for students in the learning process such as: To deliver the subjectâs message and content, to stimulate the studentsâ mind, feeling, and concern and to improve studentsâ ability. Regarding this study, it is suggested for the teachers to use appropriate media in teaching English.
