Rasuna Talib, M.Hum (2) Yusna Bantulu, S.Pd, M.A The research is aimed at knowing the implementation of Picture Sequence to increase students vocabulary that focused on Recount text in the tenth grade of SMK N 1 Bulango Utara in 2017/2018 academic year and to know whether by using of picture sequence can increase students' vocabulary mastery through Recount text or not. This experimental design research was conducted in the class with 20 students for 5 meetings which consisted of pretest-posttest group.The data were obtained from test. The researcher gained quantitative method and used Ttest to analyze the data and to test the hypothesis. The result of the research showed that the implementation of picture sequence as a treatment is accepted. Key words: Vocabulary, recount text, pictures sequence, student. â
