This research aimed to find out whether cartoon movie can enhance students' pronunciation or not. It was conducted at the 5th grade of SD IT Qurrota A'yun of Gorontalo city. The method used in this research was the quantitative research with the pre experimental (one pre and post test class) design. The number of population involved in this research was 61 students while the sample was only 10 students in 5th grade. The data was collected through conducting pre test, treatment and post test. The variables in this research were cartoon movie as the dependent variable and pronunciation as the independent variable. The hypothesis proposed in thus research was "the use of cartoon movie can enhance students pronunciation. Furthermore, the research data was analyzed by using statistical formula known as the T-test. As the result, the research was yielding that Students pronunciation was enhance through the use of the teaching and learning process by using the cartoon movie. At the first treatment students got the right pronunciation around 4 words (50%) from 8 words they learns and the students got 7 (63%) from 11 words. In addition the students got 8 (66%) from 12 words in 3rd meeting and at the final meeting students got 9 (75%) from 12 words from the movie. Additionally, the final calculation by using T-test was resulting that the value tcount = 4.2683 while the value of the tlist = 2.100. It can be conclude that tcount = 4.2683 is > the value of tlist = 2.100 which was indicating that the H1 (cartoon movie as a teaching media can strengthen the students pronunciation) is accepted.
