The objective of thisstudy is to discoverthe existence of tip of the tongue error on students' classroom presentation. The types of tip-of-the-tongue errors on students' presentation are the main data that in this study. In collecting the data,10 English department students' proposal presentation in the Seminar on Language class are recorded and identified.The data are analyzed using the theory of Woodworth (1934) and Wenzl (1932), (1936) cited in Brown & McNeil, (1966), Schwartz (2001, 2006) and Brown & McNeil (1966). The students who are identified experiencing the tip-of-the-tongue are interviewed in order to find the influental factors.The result shows that there are 58 errors which contains of 15 partial recalls and 43 abstract recalls. In addition, the interview result confirms that the errors occurred because the students are lack of English speaking practice, public speaking anxiety and lack of self-confidence in the classroom presentation. Thus, as the way to avoid this error students and lectures must concentrate to improve English speaking skill and aware to the existence of tip-of-the-tongue error in speaking.
