Abstrak

This research studied about Ecranisation of the setting of place in Breaking Dawn Novel into Movie. The objectives of this research are to find out the reduction, addition, and modification of setting of place in Breaking Dawn novel into a movie based on Eneste Theory about Ecranisation. This data was analyzed through The Descriptive Qualitative Method. This research used note-taking as the instrument to get valid data. As the result, the researcher found there were some reduction, addition, and modification in the setting of place in Breaking Dawn novel after being adapted into a movie. The researcher concluded that after the story of the novel adapted into a movie it will experience some changes, that included reduction, addition, and modification in some elements as the ecranisation process from the novel into the movie.
