This research aims to find out whether of correlation between students����¯�¿�½���� reading interest and students reading comprehension. This study took 25 students of SMPN 1 KABILA academic year 2018/2019 as the sample. This research used quantitative method, where the researcher used objective test which is multiple choices and questionnaire to collect the data. The multiple choices is used to know students����¯�¿�½���� answer in reading comprehend and the questionnaires is used to know students����¯�¿�½���� answer in reading interest. The method used is the correlation of Pearson Product Moment with a significant level of 5 %. The result correlation calculation by using the formula Product Moment obtained rcount= 0,9851 and rtable = 0,396 then rcount ����¯�¿�½���¥ rtable then H0 rejected, this means there a correlation between students reading interest and students reading comprehension is acceptable to increase and fall into the category very high.
