Main supervisor: Titien Fatmawaty Mohammad,S.Pd, M.App.Ling. Co-supervisor: Dr. Abid, S.S, MA, TESOL The aim of this research was to find out EFL students' English speaking. The source of data was gathered from students majoring in an English Department of a university in Gorontalo who already passed all speaking courses. The research employed a qualitative method with interview was used to elicit information on how participants describe their perceived strategies when speaking English. Findings revealed that cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies, and socio-affective strategies were all related to the students' perceived strategies in speaking English.
