The aim of this research is to find out the similarities and differences of Noun Phrase in English and Gorontalo language. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive method. Research data are analyzed by using contrastive analysis technique. There are four steps to analyze the data. The first is describing, the second is selecting, the third is contrasting and the last step is predicting.
The result of the research shows that noun phrase in English and Gorontalo languages have some similarities and differences based on data analysis. The similarities of both languages are article and prepositions are located before noun, while relative clause located after noun. Whereas, the differences are in English; possessive and adjective are located before noun, while in Gorontalo language they are located after noun. Then, in English; demonstrative and numeral located before noun, while in Gorontalo language can be accepted in before and after noun. Then, article and relative clause based on the function is different in noun phrase.
