Teaching practice is a program that requires applicative and integrated abilities from all previous learning experiences into a training program in the form of performance in all matters relating to teacher positions, both teaching activities and other teacher duties. In 2020, learning will have to be done online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Teaching practice must still be carried out even though it is in the form of online learning. Therefore, this study seeks to find out student perception toward the implementation teaching practices during COVID-19 pandmic. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Suwawa and the participant of this research were the students of SMPN 2 Suwawa, Bonebolango in academic years 2019/2020 who had teaching by teaching practice participant. Based on a qualitative approach, data collection was conducted by interview, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed that there were 5 themes that represented student perception towards the implementation of teaching practice during COVID-19 pandemic, namely English subject during online learning, learning method during online learning, classroom management during online learning and assignment during online learning, student�s obstacle during online learning. From this study, it can be concluded that teaching practice during the pandemic has been successfully carried out even though it has several obstacles during online learning.
