This research is about a descriptive study on students������ English speaking ability on tourism destination, which is applied by using the theory of Scoring Rublic of Speaking Ability by Brown. The purpose of this research is to find out how the students������ speaking ability in tourism destination. This research is conducted by using qualitative method. The source of the data is the students who have presented their article about tourism destination . the data is 20 students of SMA N 1 Poigar.
The result of the research is students still diffficult to speak English. It can be seen from 20 students, no one who can be categorized into excellent level, 2 students who categorized into good level , 5 students categorized in to fair level, and the rest categorized into poor level.
