Abstrak

Abdul Risal Sugeha, 2021, English-Manado Malay Code Mixing of Vlogger on Youtube This study objective is to find the type of code mixing used by a vlogger on Youtube. This study applied descriptive qualitative method. The data of this study were taken from some videos on Youtube. The theory which were used in this study were taken from Pengantar awal Sosiolinguistik: Teori dan Problema by Suwito's (1985) book. The result of this study shows that, the researcher found three types of code mixing used by the vlogger which are, insertion of words, insertion of phrases and insertion of sentences. Key words: Code mixing, Youtube, Vlogger, Sociolinguistics.
