Abstrak
This research aims to see how the main character in Wonder Woman movie portray woman inequality. William Moulton Marston created the character of Wonder Woman created this comic as propaganda to support feminists. However, unlike comics, this movie often implies a tendency towards inequality that Diana often faces as the main character in the movie. The research uses the approach of feminist literary criticism and liberal feminism theory to analyze the character of Wonder Woman and the inequalities she faces. This is also use qualitative method to analyze the data. The data is taken from the Wonder Woman movie directed by Patty Jenkins and the script movie by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs by looking at the text, narration, conversation, plot, and setting in the story. Thus the result of this research is that Wonder Woman has been faced inequality against woman, namely inequality in public space, inequality in chance, and inequality in ability and intelligence. In dealing with some of the inequality above, the researcher found that the inequality stems from women's rights that are not fulfilled in society such as the right to vote and the right to education. For this reason, liberal feminism theory is the right theory to fight woman inequality.
