In literary works such as novel, author creates various stories to communicate with the reader. One of it is the conflict among the character along the story. in the story, the author creates several character with different personality which aimed to increase the precious of the story. Further, the character which appear in the story reflected the real life situation. Sometimes, in the story the character changed overtime. Accordingly , in the novel entitled Animal Farm, the main character named Napoleon had a personality change along the story. As the reflection of real life, this novel tell the story about a group of animal rebelled in a farm because of the cruelty of owner of the farm. The rebellion made the owner the farm Mr. Jones left and changed by the new leader Napoleon and Snowball. At the start of the story Napoleon was a good figure. However, he changed over time become a bad and cruel leader in the farm. This research aimed to reveal how do the personality structure of Napoleon work. This research used descriptive qualitative method where the data analyzed using psychoanalisys approach. In order to reveal the personality of Napoleon, the researcher used Sigmund Freud personality theory. The result reveals that there are six personality traits in of Napolen found in the story which was dominated by the id of Napoleon. Although Napoleon mostly driven by his id, there are also several data which represent the ego and also the superego of Napoleon.
