This research focuses to find out the worldview portrayed in William Blakes collected poem of Songs of Innocence. The data was collected from three poems in Songs of Innocence collected poem. Those poems are: 1) âÅ"The Little Black BoyâÂ, 2) âÅ"The Chimney-SweeperâÂ, and 3) âÅ"Holy ThursdayâÂ. The research presented here used a qualitative method was lying on the data acquired. Klarers theory entitled elements of the poem used to present the poem structures with the concept of genetic structuralism formulated by Lucien Goldmann to point out the poets worldview. The findings show that the three poems contain the elements of the poem such as theme, diction, symbol, metaphor, simile, personification, hyperbole, and all kind of imagery. Therefore, the results appear that Blakes worldview found from the three poems is racial toward black people, the miserable life of British children, and the religious view to point out Gods love and grace. Related to the title of the book collection poem Songs of Innocence which is examined based on these three poems illustrates the side of innocence, poverty, and humanity by the children.
